Discovery Tours Egypt

Alexandria, on the Mediterranean.

Alexandria is a served destination, not an office. Our Cairo team runs private day tours that start at an Alexandria hotel or cruise port, and plans shore excursions around the ship's return.

Planning notes for trade.

  • Sites split into two clusters: the harbour (library, museums, Roman theatre, Qaitbay) and the inland sites (Kom el-Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar). Plan the day around one cluster.
  • Tickets are separate per site, with no city pass, and some sites charge for cameras.
  • Check the Bibliotheca Alexandrina opening days with our team before you commit a day to it.
  • Hotel contracting in Alexandria is confirmed per request. Ask our team.
